We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Aerotek in Richmond Heights, Ohio.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position that requires a skilled Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial applications, including high voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing process equipment, as well as designing, building, and maintaining control panels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems and components are installed and maintained in accordance with local and National Electric codes. This includes working on AC/DC motor controls, PLC's, and VFD's, as well as hydraulic, pneumatic, and pump systems.

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components in a plant environment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair process equipment, including motors, pumps, and other mechanical devices.
  • Design, build, and maintain control panels for production machines and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with local and National Electric codes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician in industrial applications.
  • Hands-on experience with high voltage systems, including AC/DC motor controls, PLC's, and VFD's.
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and pump systems.
  • Familiarity with diesel and natural gas generators.
  • Ability to design, build, and maintain control panels.
  • Proven ability to work safely and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • OSHA Incident Commander and First Responder training.
