Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Service Technician to join our team at Landmark Equipment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $25-$38 per hour, depending on skill set and job experience. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing material handling equipment, systems, and products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Examine equipment to determine malfunctioning parts, including engine, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, brakes, and fuel systems.
  • Disassemble, repair, and assemble components in a clean and organized manner.
  • Repair equipment located at our shop or customer locations.
  • Interact with customers in person or via phone to discuss repair needs and complete work orders.
  • Manage and schedule PMs (Periodic Maintenance) and follow up repairs.
  • Produce completed work orders and submit them on a timely basis with accurate detail of work performed.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • A strong background in mechanical repair, with experience working on heavy equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and telescoping forklifts.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • High school or equivalent education, with previous mechanical experience or technical schooling an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers and coworkers.
