About the Role



As a Global Supply Chain Professional at Johns Manville, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and goods across our global supply chain. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve logistics and procurement processes, driving cost savings and efficiency gains throughout the organization.



Key Responsibilities





  • Develop and manage Request for Quotation's (RFQs) for various logistics, warehouse, and other services

  • Work on projects to improve Johns Manville's logistics service and cost

  • Leverage prior experience to quickly develop, analyze, and develop cost savings or service improvement opportunities in logistics

  • Develop and/or support the development of logistics strategies

  • Ensure accurate and efficient recording of project savings by the Global Logistics Team

  • Run reports as needed of project savings for various business units

  • Act as liaison between Global Logistics and Finance groups within Johns Manville

  • Continuously improve savings tool and tracking methodology

  • Ensure satisfaction with internal and external customers

  • Conduct all customer interactions in a manner that positively represents Johns Manville

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Maintain a scorecard of results and metrics

  • Use report analysis to recommend changes to program, or to identify corrective actions

  • Use data analytics tools to properly report on category/product/material usage and pricing

  • Use data automation tools to update market basket prices



Requirements



Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or Applied Engineering Sciences with Supply Chain cognate



Completed sophomore, junior, or senior year of undergraduate coursework and enrolled in school



GPA of 3.0 or higher



Procurement and Accounts Payable knowledge



Previous internship/supply chain experience preferred
