About VORTO

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team at VORTO, where we are dedicated to creating software and platforms that enhance supply chain sustainability. As part of the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of commerce by collaborating with shippers and drivers on advanced supply chain automation and trucking platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand our business to take ownership of features from concept to implementation
  • Rapidly design, develop and maintain APIs, services, and systems
  • Troubleshoot production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
  • Adhere to best practices for writing high-quality, secure, maintainable, scalable, and efficient code

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining production codebases
  • 2 years experience with Angular & Typescript and SQL
  • Experience or enthusiasm to work with GoLang
  • Desire to comprehend the business context for the solutions being developed
  • Ability to maintain high standards when working with production systems

The following are advantageous but not mandatory for this role:

  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with GRPC

Compensation: $105-150k
