About the Role

As a Fiber Optic Network Technician at Conexon, you will play a crucial role in expanding our FTTH networks nationwide. With over five years of experience in FTTX installation implementation, you will have a solid understanding of fiber optic technology and its applications.

Your responsibilities will include installing FTTX broadband service to residential and commercial customers, restoring customer services after trouble tickets, completing interior and exterior cabling of fiber optic and category 6 ethernet cables, and completing quality control checks of other technicians. You will also be responsible for assigning equipment and material to warehouses, technicians, and customers, maintaining proper inventory levels, and documenting assignments within the inventory system.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong PC and Microsoft Office skills, as well as the ability to use optical test equipment, including fusion splicers and OTDRs. Experience with NISC software is also essential. A competitive salary of approximately $90,000 per year, plus benefits, makes this an attractive opportunity for experienced professionals.
