Digital Fiber Network Specialist

At Conexon, we are expanding our operations to build advanced fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks nationwide in collaboration with Rural Electric Cooperatives.

The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

This Digital Fiber Network Specialist will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing customer FTTX broadband and voice services. Key responsibilities include:

• Installing aerial and buried service drop cabling, ONTs, network interface devices (NID), and performing wiring for new or existing FTTX broadband, voice, and Special Circuit subscriber services.
• Completing quality control checks of other technicians' work.
• Maintaining inventory levels between warehouses and technicians throughout the territory.

We require candidates with a high school diploma (college degree preferred) and at least 5 years' experience in FTTX installation implementation. NISC experience is also beneficial. Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills are necessary, along with the ability to use optical test equipment and safely operate a company vehicle.
