The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the activities of the Financial Planning & Analysis Business Unit, developing and implementing planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities that support major business decisions and overall financial health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics, and budget analysis, with at least 7 years of administrative experience, including 3 years in a managerial capacity. A Master's degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience. The successful candidate will also have advanced knowledge of financial reporting tools, such as Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI, and SAP BPC.

The Assistant Director will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a set of planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities that support major business decisions and overall financial health.
  • Initiating business cases, assembling budgets, and forecasts, and reporting as necessary to the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Assisting the Chief Financial Officer in the development of financing plans to deliver projects approved in the HAS Capital Improvement Plan.
  • Performing business and financial analysis to support executive decision making and planning.
  • Leading the development and compilation of HAS's capital and operating budgets.
  • Producing financial reports as necessary to provide an update on the status of HAS's financial performance against prior years and budgets.
