Job Title: Charge Nurse Leader
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse Leader to join our team at The Plaza Assisted Living. As a Charge Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the nursing department, medication pass, supervision, training, and support in nurse delegation duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nurse delegation program for all floors responsible for.
- Schedule nursing and resident care staff to ensure appropriate resident/staff ratio.
- Enforce attendance policies if needed, and replace team members as needed.
- Supervise care staff in the absence of the Director of Nursing and provide feedback concerning their performance on an ongoing basis.
- Assure documentation of resident records by care staff is complete and accurate by conducting frequent audits.
- Communicate regularly with care staff to provide information and address concerns.
- Assist with providing new hire and ongoing training to resident care staff/care department and instruct personnel on use of equipment.
Requirements:
- Current State of Hawaii Nursing License (LVN, RN), in good standing.
- Current Tuberculosis Clearance, according to the State of Hawaii Department of Health.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
