Role Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all unit functions during their shift. Working closely with the management team, the CNC directs and evaluates nursing care in alignment with established policies and procedures, serving as a resource for staff while embodying the organization's values.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to enhance patient care.
  • Engage in ongoing assessments of care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Foster teamwork and improved outcomes through collaboration with experts and other managers.
  • Promote a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery as needed.
  • Support nursing strategies aimed at enhancing staff engagement and patient care.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with productivity guidelines.
  • Oversee inventory control and assist in managing supplies and equipment.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
  • A Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire or transfer.
  • A minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, excellent service skills, and effective communication abilities.
