About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Practice Manager to join our team at Eisenhower Health. As a key member of our healthcare leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clinic(s) in collaboration with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and/or RN Practice Manager.

\

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Supervise clinic office practice employees (clinical and non-clinical)\
  • Maintain positive relations with direct and indirect customers\
  • Develops and maintains open lines of communication between team members\
  • Organize efforts around helping patients and clients have the most positive experience\
  • Participate in Joint Commission inspections and other local and state regulatory inspection requirements\
  • Responsible for the daily assessment of unit equipment to maintain quality controls\
  • Ensure National Patient Safety Goals are adhered to\
  • Rounds with staff members to evaluate care and services given to patients\
  • Schedule staff to ensure appropriate coverage\
  • Demonstrate commitment to the EH Behavioral Standards\
  • Perform other duties as assigned\
  • Oversee daily scheduling for timely flow and reduced wait times\
  • Monitor electronic medical records work list and MyChart messages of all staff for timely response and follow up\
  • Assist in patient care including rooming of patient, entering health information into EMR, administering injections, assist with exam or diagnostic procedure setup\
  • Ensures medical record information is scanned to electronic medical record appropriately and timely\
  • Manage medication, pharmaceutical supplies and medical supplies to maintain par levels\
  • Escalate issues to RN Practice Manager as appropriate\
  • Plan and conduct regular meetings discussing issues and performance improvement in his/her area(s) of responsibility\
  • Report performance improvement results to RN Practice Manager or CAO and address any problems or issues accurately and timely\
  • Implement policies as directed by CAO and RN Practice Manager\
  • Supports a work environment which allows participation in order to promote retention, productivity, diversity, employee safety and equality\
  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations\
  • Reports to RN Practice Manager or CAO\
  • Participate in the selection, training and evaluation of staff\
  • Clinic office practice employees (clinical and non-clinical) reports to the supervisor\
  • Ages of Patients: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric\
  • Blood Borne Pathogens: Moderate Potential\
  • Qualifications

      • \
      • Required: BSN or MSN, if hired after July 1, 2016; Enrolled in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within one (1) year of hire and completion within five (5) years of hire, if hired before July 1, 2016\
      • Licensure/Certification

        • Required: CA RN license, American Heart Association BLS\
        • Experience
          • \
          • Required: 3+ years RN experience\
          • Preferred: 1 year of acute care experience; 2+ years of management experience; Management or Supervisory experience in Primary Care clinic setting\\-\/ul>

    • BA/BS degree in Nursing required\
    • California RN license required\
    • American Heart Association BLS certification required\
    • 3+ years RN experience required\

    Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
