We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at SENTA ENT and Allergy Physicians. As a key member of our medical office staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of allergy and asthma conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient care during office visits, including administering immunotherapy injections and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as skin testing, pulmonary function testing, and drawing blood for laboratory tests.
- Treat emergency and priority patients, including the use of CPR if necessary.
- Assist with patient education on their physical condition, treatment plan, and use of equipment and medication delivery devices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or MA.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and travel to multiple office locations as needed.
- Familiarity with clinic health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology.
- Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) to practice in the state of GA.
- Knowledge of clinic practice standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with adult and pediatric patients and families, as well as with co-workers.
- Allergy and asthma experience is preferred but not required.
