Job Overview

Lactalis North America is seeking a skilled Sanitation Operator II to join our team in Nampa, Idaho. As a key member of our sanitation team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and clean packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all safety and GMP procedures to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform daily swabs of equipment to ensure cleanliness and effectiveness.
  • Reassemble equipment and prepare it for production to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping and GMP procedures.
  • Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow and communicate effectively with supervisors and managers.
  • Perform sanitation duties as assigned by the sanitation lead and supervisor.
  • Report any problems or concerns to supervisors and/or management.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No experience required, but experience in general cleaning, chemical handling, and customer service is preferred.
  • Oral and written communication skills, English language, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, work independently, and be part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning productions, and ability to adhere to attendance requirements.
  • Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace and follow safety rules.
