CSEA, one of New York's largest public employee unions, is seeking a highly skilled Statewide Organizer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive organizing campaigns to increase CSEA's membership.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify key targets and develop effective strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with union members, leaders, and community stakeholders.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support organizing efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor and employment laws to ensure compliance and effectiveness in union campaigns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in labor relations or a related field, or three years of experience in union organizing, union building, political, or community organizing.
  • Valid New York State driver's license and car for business use.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout New York State.
