Job Summary

The Consumer Performance and Risk Analyst is a critical role within the Consumer line of business, responsible for developing, maintaining, and administering key performance indicators and/or key risk indicators. This position will report to the Director of Compliance & Oversight, ensuring the standards of oversight for performance and risk management are upheld.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review weekly audit request postings for Retail and Private Bank, including sample selection, tracking, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Evaluate Retail and Private Banking work deemed key performance indicators regarding operational performance of the Consumer line of business.
  • Communicate KPIs to Retail and Private Banking teams.
  • Administer the program to assess final errors that should be reported and reflected in consumer operational performance.
  • Report key performance indicators according to the frequency set in the program guidelines.
  • Administer weekly audit documentation requests for Retail key performance indicators.
  • Evaluate and review weekly audit documentation submitted by Retail and Private Banking teams for key performance indicator reporting.
  • Prepare Consumer Banking key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards for publishing to Consumer Banking teams monthly.
  • Monitor and maintain department email inboxes to ensure Consumer Delivery Team support for key performance indicator reporting.
  • Develop and administer key risk indicators for Retail and Private Bank.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of banking, analytics, compliance, or other relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to evaluate work product objectively without bias.
  • Ability to develop and maintain rapport with various departments to effectively obtain and document information.
  • Ability to learn and understand documenting, evaluating, and analyzing processes that identify key risks and controls.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points
  • 3+ years of experience in the production, processing, or evaluation of documentation related to Consumer Banking operational processes or procedures.
  • Microsoft Power BI creation and design capabilities.
  • Systemic or functional knowledge of UMB Bank's Loan and/or Deposit systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Compensation Range

Minimum: $44, Maximum: $103,820.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
