Position Overview
The Nurse Manager will oversee the clinical operations of the Wound Management and Limb Preservation department. Collaborating closely with the Medical Director, this role is crucial for ensuring high-quality care for patients with wounds in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standards and research initiatives to enhance patient care quality.
- Improve clinical practices through education for both staff and patients, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Registered Nurse license or recognized compact licensure (subject to state requirements).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in wound care within an acute care setting.
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role such as Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or Nursing Management.
