Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Press Operator at Mannington Mills. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for inserting rubber preforms into a press, removing cured rubber, and hand trimming waste. This is a critical role that requires strong communication skills, a teamwork mindset, and the ability to work in tandem with other associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insert and remove rubber preforms weighing up to 15 pounds into a press at 300 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Trim and hand stack cured rubber tiles
  • Perform quality checks before and after material is cured
  • Rotate positions with Waterjet Operator, Tile Punch Press Operator, and Refining Mill Operator
  • Work overtime as required

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
  • Ability to read and understand a schedule while using a computer interface
  • Understanding of 5S and good housekeeping principles
