Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team at Mannington Mills. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for inserting rubber preforms into a press, removing cured rubber, and hand trimming waste.

• Read and understand production schedules while using a computer interface to record production data
• Perform critical quality checks and accurately measure specifications
• Insert and remove rubber weighing 15 pounds into a press at 300 degrees Fahrenheit
• Trim and hand stack cured tile, performing quality checks before and after material is cured
• Work in tandem with another associate, rotating positions with the Waterjet Operator, Tile Punch Press Operator, and Refining Mill
• Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
• Ability to understand and follow 5S and good housekeeping practices

This is a 3rd shift position, working 11pm-7am. Overtime may be required.
