Position Overview:

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the logistics of material management, focusing on the efficient loading and unloading of materials, as well as the packaging of products. This position demands meticulous attention to inventory management through SAP, while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the unloading of incoming raw materials and the loading of finished goods into transport vehicles.
  • Verify that all necessary documentation is in order prior to the unloading/loading process.
  • Collect samples for Quality Control assessments.
  • Execute SAP entries related to inventory management and invoicing.
  • Manage hazardous materials and conduct regular physical inventory checks.
  • Package products into a variety of containers, including bags, drums, and totes.
  • Maintain accurate daily production logs and ensure cleanliness in work areas.
  • Provide assistance to operations and warehouse teams as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
  • Capability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a chemical processing facility or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is advantageous.
  • Strong mathematical skills and effective time management capabilities.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Comfortable operating in environments with chemicals while utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to sustain prolonged physical activity, including extended shifts.
