Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Carter's. As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases, as well as maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits
  • Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance multiple customers in a busy retail environment
  • Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel services to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions
  • Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed
  • Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program to customers
  • Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store
Requirements
  • A positive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder
  • Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
