Zelis Payments Job Overview:

The Fraud Reporting & Insights Analyst is an integral member of the Zelis Payments team, directly reporting to the Senior Director of PINS. This role involves close collaboration with the Fraud team to deliver analytical insights that will enhance the Fraud program. The key responsibilities encompass supporting fraud detection initiatives, formulating detection rules, generating comprehensive reports, and conducting data analysis to mitigate financial losses associated with fraudulent activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate historical fraud data and reporting capabilities to strengthen prevention measures.
  • Employ SQL, Snowflake, and various analytical tools to produce daily fraud reports.
  • Work in partnership with the data science team to develop fraud modeling algorithms.
  • Oversee the execution of advanced analytics by aggregating data from multiple sources.
  • Automate reporting insights utilizing visualization tools such as PowerBI.
  • Communicate trends and findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the Risk and Controls department with compliance-related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Fraud, Risk, or Compliance roles.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Studio, Snowflake, and Python programming.
  • Background in Fraud Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
  • Experience using Jupyter for data analysis.
  • Proficient in Jira and Confluence project management tools.
  • Understanding of the Healthcare Payments sector.
  • Certification as a Fraud Examiner is advantageous.
