Job Title: Aerodynamics Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerodynamics Simulation Engineer to join our team at SteelStone. As an Aerodynamics Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, simulating, and optimizing airflow in kitchen appliances such as air fryers and convection ovens.

Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to create models to inform the design of products sold in mass retail channels. You will work closely with product design teams to integrate simulation results into product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement simulation models for airflow in various kitchen appliances.
  • Collaborate with product design teams to integrate simulation results into product development.
  • Conduct tests and analyze data to evaluate performance and efficiency of designs.
  • Use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools to predict airflow patterns and thermal effects.
  • Continuously improve simulation methodologies and techniques.
  • Document and present simulation results and design recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with latest developments in aerodynamics simulation and kitchen appliance technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aerodynamics simulation or related field.
  • Proficient in CFD software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen appliance design and functionality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Experience in consumer product design and development.
Working Conditions:
  • Office environment in Brooklyn, NY.
  • Regular office hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
