Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and other diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation.
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Position patients correctly and utilize auxiliary equipment as needed to obtain optimal images.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within our electronic medical record system.
  • Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through ongoing education and training.
  • Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
