DPR Construction is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team. As a part of our innovative organization, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our extensive fleet of rental machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
The Heavy Equipment Technician will be tasked with:
- Ensuring the timely processing of returned rental machinery.
- Maintaining an organized and clean workspace, including the management of both operational and non-operational equipment.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines established by OSHA and our company.
- Managing inventory and procurement of essential parts and supplies.
- Overseeing the upkeep of service vehicles and their attached equipment.
- Coordinating customer service interactions and on-site service requests.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a technician.
- Experience in operating various types of construction machinery.
- Basic computer skills, with familiarity in rental management software being advantageous.
- Knowledge of procurement software is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must have:
- A complete set of tools in good condition.
- The ability to perform tasks that may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
- The capacity to work at a desk and on a computer for extended periods.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
