The Tax Manager is responsible for leading the corporate income tax function, including quarterly and year-end tax provisions, tax returns, and related work papers. This role requires expertise in tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage tax provisions and tax compliance
- Administer tax returns and related work papers
- File extensions and quarterly estimates
- Review and administer excise tax deposits and returns
- Manage all state tax extensions and returns
- Provide tax planning and review of complex income tax returns
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Interact with external auditors related to tax provisions and disclosures
- Interact with external tax advisors
- Respond to notices and audits requests; manage and coordinate tax audits
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
