This position offers a unique chance to play a vital role in the success of events by assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a tidy work environment.

Position Overview: As a Culinary Service Associate, you will have the flexibility to work in various locations within the event venue where food is being prepared. Your main duties will involve aiding in the setup and serving of food from stations and serving areas, as well as ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workspaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Food Preparation and Service:
    • Assist in the organization and presentation of food items at serving stations.
    • Serve meals to guests with a focus on presentation and compliance with serving standards.
  2. Sanitation and Cleaning:
    • Carry out cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary and orderly workspace.
    • Clean and sanitize tools, utensils, and work areas following health and safety regulations.
  3. Adaptability in Work Areas:
    • May be assigned to various locations within the venue where food preparation occurs.
    • Adjust to different workstations and responsibilities as required for smooth event operations.
  4. Teamwork and Communication:
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective and efficient event execution.
    • Engage with event coordinators and fellow staff to meet specific needs.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to various workstations and responsibilities as necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene.
  • Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
