Facility Operations Manager

- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, embodying the #AddLife culture in all interactions.
- Recruit, inspire, train, mentor, and guide staff to ensure Team Members receive the necessary leadership and resources to meet established goals.
- Foster a supportive and motivating environment for Team Members.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear guidance in task assignments and instructions.
- Assist in setting departmental standards, guidelines, and objectives, while also managing administrative processes such as budgeting and staffing for efficient operations.
- Evaluate activities in Environmental Services and Maintenance to enhance staffing levels, working conditions, and other factors impacting service quality and profitability.
- Manage utility expenses and spearhead initiatives to minimize costs through improved operational efficiencies and the adoption of new technologies.
- Establish preventative maintenance programs and maintain service records, supporting construction and renovation efforts.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical system malfunctions, including HVAC, plumbing, and other equipment throughout the facility.
- Supervise the maintenance of the building's exterior, ensuring curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, painting, and gardening.
- Assign, oversee, and verify the completion of routine maintenance and operations of the facility's physical structure, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, ensuring safe and effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and Hazcom regulations, including the maintenance of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Address guest complaints and concerns appropriately.
- Schedule Team Members to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction while minimizing labor and material costs.
- Plan and conduct Team Member meetings, attending related meetings to gather and share relevant information.
- Continuously inspect the condition of furniture, fixtures, and decor in public areas, making recommendations and assisting in the coordination of rehabilitation projects.
- Resolve issues within the scope of authority and recommend actions for problems beyond that scope to the supervisor.
- Keep the supervisor informed of significant activities.
- Review the work of subordinate employees to ensure adherence to management standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Participate in required training sessions provided by the Company.
- Obtain and maintain necessary licenses.
- Perform duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure minors are not permitted to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, consume alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Understand the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relevant to the Team Member's department.
- Be aware of the Property's programs addressing problem gaming.
- Report any known acts of wrongdoing.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages subordinates who may oversee other employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit(s).
