About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager of Surgery to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for our surgical unit, overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.

As a Nurse Manager of Surgery, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement strategies that improve patient outcomes, enhance the patient experience, and advance the profession of nursing. You will also be responsible for managing personnel, including interviewing, training, and evaluating staff performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction for staffing, patient care, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the provision of services.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a positive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Diploma, Associates, or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • Three years' experience in acute care nursing.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per year.
