Electrical Engineering Co-op/Intern Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering as a co-op or intern with Olin Winchester LLC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the guidance of senior engineers on electrical design projects
  • Support maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical controls
  • Maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation
  • Ensure personal safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate with Operational, Maintenance, and Safety Teams to achieve Manufacturing Excellence goals
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university majoring in Electrical Engineering
  • Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned location
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during normal business hours
  • Not eligible for virtual work
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in ammunition and firearms with knowledge of the shooting sports industry
  • Ability to work a minimum of three terms with no more than one term occurring over the summer
