Logistics Support Acquisition Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Manager (PM) and Product Support Manager (PSM) in executing their responsibilities as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager, providing support to sustainment teams through data analysis, procurement, and logistics management of critical assets and related materials.
- Aid in the creation and upkeep of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post Production (TPP), developing and implementing phased strategies for these plans.
- Oversee all logistics components, including spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical documentation, and provisioning, ensuring that all integrated logistics support requirements are identified and customized to meet organizational needs.
- Contribute to analyses, report writing, and recommendations that enable logisticians to systematically arrange maintenance support, ensuring systems and equipment are ready for assigned missions across all maintenance levels.
- Provide assistance in areas such as reliability-centered maintenance program analyses, level of repair analyses, and maintenance trade studies; recommend necessary maintenance capabilities, track weapon system modifications, and support contractor logistics and interim contractor support requirements.
- Engage in the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive and effective systems support strategy.
- Support the program office by producing or reviewing documentation that aligns with acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.
- Assist the program office throughout various phases including Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD), Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support.
Required Qualifications:
- MA/MS degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in the Department of Defense (DoD) -OR-
- BA/BS degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in the DoD -OR-
- Twenty (20) years of directly related experience, with eight (8) years in the DoD.
- Possess advanced knowledge and recognized expertise in the technical/professional field, with the ability to oversee junior personnel.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and application of associated standards and practices in the area of expertise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Skype/Lync), Adobe Acrobat, and web access applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
