About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and validating new analytical methods for the evaluation and characterization of finished products, raw materials, and intermediates. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to advance current metrology capabilities and establish global alignment of quality processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop statistically and technically sound analytical test methods for the characterization of the company's existing chemical portfolio and new chemistries in development.
  • Characterize raw materials, intermediates, and various aspects of the supply chain using a combination of standard and non-standard test methods.
  • Advance current metrology capabilities through focused pursuit of identified technology and performance targets.
  • Participate in establishing global alignment of quality processes and procedures.
  • Communicate activities, data collected, and conclusions verbally and in writing.
  • Select and establish Long Term Stability monitors (LTS).
  • Support QC Laboratory Personnel and Quality Systems through advanced troubleshooting, mentorship, and peer review.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemical-related or other Physical Science discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor field or in a R&D/production laboratory environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and direct the work of others.
  • Instrumentation and analytical skills experience preferred, with emphasis on ICP-MS.
