In this role, you will provide comprehensive support and counseling to individuals considering adoption, conduct thorough home studies, facilitate post-placement visits, and engage in community outreach. Your expertise and empathy will be instrumental in creating positive and lasting outcomes for all parties involved.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate counseling and support to expecting parents exploring adoption as an option.
  • Educate prospective adoptive families about the adoption process and their responsibilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive home studies to assess the suitability of potential adoptive homes.
  • Facilitate open communication and collaboration between birth parents and adoptive families.
  • Prepare legal documents and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to adoptive families post-placement.
  • Engage in community outreach to raise awareness about adoption services.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with expectant parents and adoptive families.
  • Strong understanding of adoption laws and ethical practices.
