Position Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and ambitious individuals to fill the role of Desktop & Depot Support in Melbourne, Florida. This position is integral to our expanding partnership with a key client, where you will engage in both Desktop and Depot Support functions.

Key Responsibilities - Desktop Support:

  • Deliver software troubleshooting and repair services for workstations.
  • Execute PC installations, relocations, additions, and modifications.
  • Conduct image loading processes.
  • Oversee asset recovery and tagging.
  • Provide printer support and assistance.
  • Facilitate Client Center (Tech Bar) support.
  • Update IT Service Management records.
  • Perform additional client support tasks to ensure workstation functionality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities - Depot Support:

  • Organize and manage equipment storage within the client build center.
  • Carry out tasks related to request fulfillment and device refreshes, including inventory management, imaging, asset tagging, and shipping coordination.
  • Process returned equipment, determining reuse or disposal, and executing refurbishment or secure disposal as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking within the asset management system.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Desktop Support is preferred, though training will be provided for entry-level candidates.
  • Familiarity with PC imaging techniques.
  • Experience in change and incident management processes.
  • Proficiency with tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink, and Secure Disk Wiper.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Dell Technician.
  • Expertise in inventory management practices.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work onsite in Melbourne, Florida.
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract stipulations.
