Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations and operating radiographic equipment to make high-quality images of patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations according to established protocols and maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of radiation protection and safety during all radiographic examinations.
  • Prepare for and assist the radiologist with intricate radiographic examinations.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • One year of experience as a general radiographer.
  • Registered with ARRT and KY Radiation Operators Certification.
  • CPR-Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
