We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Assistant I to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a key member of our healthcare foodservice team, you will play a vital role in providing optimal nutritional care to our patients, guests, and staff.
Responsibilities- Participate in and support all aspects of healthcare foodservice operations.
- Work with facility staff to provide optimal nutritional care and demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Follow healthcare foodservice industry standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
- Prepare and serve food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of recipe ingredients to respond to food allergy questions or requests.
- Ensure proper meal portioning and aesthetically pleasing presentation.
- Perform various tasks, including cashiering, serving in the retail area, assembling and delivering patient trays, and performing cold food prep.
- No experience necessary.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire (if required by state, county, or local health code).
