Job Summary:

The Sterilization Equipment Specialist is responsible for ensuring the proper processing and sterilization of all instruments for daily use at BTY DENTAL. This role involves collecting used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontamination.

Key Responsibilities:

Manually clean supplies of contaminants.
Operate and maintain decontamination equipment.
Prepare and package decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
Examine supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Routinely test and report any issues or problems with sterilization equipment.
Sterilize, prep, wrap, and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during dental procedures.
Prepare and deliver all necessary equipment and instruments for procedures.
Maintain records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
Monitor inventory and supplies.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Reliable transportation needed for daily travel between offices.
