We are seeking a skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiology Specialist, you will be responsible for performing tests, interpreting results, and providing medical imaging services to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
- Prescribe tests, treatments, and/or surgery when necessary.
- Maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients.
- Perform tests to check the health of patients' hearts and/or cardiovascular systems.
- Interpret test results to determine how effectively the heart and/or cardiovascular system is functioning.
- Use medical imaging equipment to diagnose and treat heart and/or cardiovascular conditions.
- Assist and/or perform surgery, including complex interventions that require a team of medical professionals.
- Prescribe medication to treat heart and/or cardiovascular disease.
- Provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiology Technology.
- Current one year of radiology/cardiology X-Ray tech experience.
- COVID vaccine with 2 shots and booster.
- BLS - American Heart Association.
- ARRT.
- New Mexico Radiology Tech License.
- Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participate in relevant continuing education programs.
- Attend Nurses Association meetings.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers, and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
- Administration of injections.
