Position Overview
The Licensed Operator is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining one or several packaged wastewater plants. To be successful in this role, the LO must be able to function effectively both as a member of a team and independently in the delivery of service, maintenance, and repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain packaged wastewater treatment plants, which involves blowers, pumps, chemical feed equipment, reactors, aeration devices, PVC pipelines, and valves.
  • Perform routine tests, including DO, pH, chlorine residuals, SV, ammonia, MLSS, etc.
  • Collaborate with fellow operators and system technicians.
  • Record operational data from meter and gauge readings on specified forms.
  • Work closely with system technicians to oversee routine operation and maintenance.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
