We're looking for a Perinatal Care Specialist to join our team at EnvisionAge. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns. The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 per year.

Job Overview:

As a Perinatal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in the mother baby unit. This includes preparing examination rooms, initiating and completing assigned duties, assisting with patient check-ins and admissions, and checking patient vital signs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare examination rooms prior to patient arrival.
  • Initiate, perform, and complete assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations.
  • Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers as directed.
  • Check patient's vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, and blood pressure.

Requirements:

  • Current full, active, and unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN).
  • One year of registered nurse experience after graduation in the required specialty requested.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ALS)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification as needed.
