Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wastewater Collection Technician to join our team at Emerald Coast Utilities Authority. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient collection and transportation of wastewater throughout our service area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain wastewater collection vehicles and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wastewater collection infrastructure
  • Respond to emergency situations and perform repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
