Key Responsibilities
Oversee the setup, preparation, organization, sanitation, and production of food and beverage items for your designated workstation. Ensure completion of daily and weekly cleaning tasks. Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Essential Duties
- Manage the setup and execution of daily preparations and organization of individual workstations.
- Prepare and store all necessary food items to meet quality standards.
- Communicate with the Department Manager regarding specialty product needs or food quality issues.
- Maintain consistent preparation and presentation in line with established standards, including portion sizes for daily specials and other menu items.
- Adhere to proper cooking techniques as directed by the Chef(s).
- Creatively garnish all dishes served.
- Ensure upkeep of condiments, dressings, and other accompaniments.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of personal work areas and the kitchen overall.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Address member or guest complaints promptly and effectively.
- Engage professionally with members and guests, accommodating requests as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Due to the dynamic nature of club operations, flexibility in performing various functions is essential.
- Adhere to club policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Follow instructions diligently as provided.
- Maintain safe working practices and encourage others to do the same.
- Participate in daily team meetings as required.
- Wear a clean and professional uniform that meets club standards.
- Pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years of experience in a kitchen setting preferred.
EDUCATION: High school diploma preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Food Handler's Certification required.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to work in extreme temperatures, standing for long periods, in a high-noise, fast-paced environment.
