Strategic Finance Associate

At HeartFlow, we are revolutionizing precision heart care through cutting-edge technology. As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will play a central role in constructing and updating our long-range business and valuation modeling. This position requires collaboration with leadership across multiple functions to determine critical valuation drivers and understand their applicability to our financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the company's long-range planning model.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update the company's strategic plan.
  • Support Investor Relations by creating succinct analysis and messaging.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for equity and debt financing activities, analyzing capital structure, financing options, and cost of capital to support strategic financing decisions.
  • Assist in preparing materials for capital raising and other strategic financial transactions, working with leadership on capital raising efforts.
  • Work with the commercial organization to conduct scenario analysis for pricing and business models, evaluating the financial impact of pricing decisions and optimizing value creation.
  • Monitor pricing trends and provide recommendations to optimize pricing and profitability.
  • Create financial models, PowerPoint presentations, and data visualization as required.
Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical skills and the capacity to identify problems and opportunities, providing well-informed recommendations for solutions.
  • Ability to structure logical, analytical approaches and apply a range of techniques to solve business problems in an efficient, timely manner.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with a track record of building solid relationships cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Curiosity, strong critical thinking skills, and an insatiable appetite for learning.
  • Command of scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of various strategic initiatives.
  • Internally motivated to learn about HeartFlow and the industry outside of directly assigned projects and tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Expertise with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Possess an attention to detail to produce accurate work.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $100,000 - $130,000, cash bonus, and stock options.
