Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with the planning, fieldwork, and completion of compilations, reviews, and audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting and auditing principles and be able to apply them to engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management letters
  • Learn how to apply accounting and auditing pronouncements to engagements
  • Identify areas of weakness in internal control and provide management recommendations
  • Prepare clear and concise work papers and documentation for all engagements
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations to senior staff
  • Build relationships with clients and community contacts to contribute to business development
  • Assist seniors, managers, and partners with various projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA required or currently working toward obtaining
  • 1-3 years of experience in public accounting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
