Key Responsibilities:
  • Adopt a "Working Supervisor" approach, collaborating directly with the Grounds Team
  • Design and implement effective landscape and grounds maintenance strategies
  • Maintain and service various irrigation systems and backflow preventers
  • Assign daily tasks to grounds staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Oversee the annual landscape budget and manage supply orders and inventory
  • Ensure all landscaping equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and maintained
  • Communicate safety protocols and incident reporting procedures to team members
  • Recruit part-time personnel to assist with landscaping during major events
  • Supervise housekeeping and cleanup teams during significant event weekends
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable grounds or landscaping position
  • A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or project management capacity
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive mindset and a creative problem-solver who thrives in a multitasking environment
Position Type: Full-time

Compensation: Negotiable based on relevant experience
