We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grader/Sorter at ReadyWork. As a Grader/Sorter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of agricultural products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grade, sort, or classify unprocessed food and other agricultural products by size, weight, color, or condition.
  • Place products in containers according to grade and assure that product meets customer quality standards.
  • Discard inferior or defective products and/or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing.
  • Grade and sort products according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage.
  • Record grade and/or identification numbers on tags or on shipping, receiving, or sales sheets.
  • Weigh products or estimate their weight, visually or by feel.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks as directed by lead or supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Be physically capable of working and standing for 8 hours or more daily.
  • Be able to work in different work environments (either hot or cold environments).
  • Sanitize and wash hands before work begins.
  • Wear the appropriate clothing for the job.
  • Grade out defective product.
  • Pack customer orders.
  • Work in different work areas.
  • Communicate with coworkers and leads.
  • Keep areas clean.
