WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

The Asset Supervisor works closely with various managers and support departments in assessing needs for the Warehousing department, coordinating facility repairs, equipment replacement planning, equipment & facilities maintenance, managing rental assets (forklifts, trailers, pallets, containers, etc.). Responsible for Warehousing monthly budgets as it relates to assets, maintenance, and facilities. Coordinating of facility and capital projects. Job duties include data analytics, reporting, creating and implementing processes, project creation and execution, and accounting.
  • Coordinate inspections, audits, repairs and preventative maintenance for over 2,000 assets and various other items, utilizing direct reports (mechanics), support departments and contractors.
  • Provide technical assistance as required for personnel using developed and maintained library of equipment and repair manuals
  • Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and company goals
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify potential occupational hazards, enforcing standard safety practices/precautions
  • Maintain adequate inventories of rented assets to assure smooth operations.
  • Leverage multiple information platforms and analytical tools to consolidate and analyze weekly/monthly variances between actual and planned and to identify opportunities and risks embedded in the budget
  • Maintain and control, and approve and code budget needs for various departments
  • Gathers, assembles, and formats data and prepares preliminary analysis for budget preparation; assists in preparation and presentation of preliminary and final budget documents
  • Develop, track and report on key performance indicators and budget compliance
  • Create and submit PIRs for capital projects, working closely with Director, Plant/Senior Managers, and Project managers on final budget preparation, planning and executing of capital projects.
  • Establish clear ownership for project tasks and work closely with the Inventory Dept. to ensure that team members/vendors have the parts/tools needed and provide timely updates
  • Receive and log invoices and monitor the Accounts Payable process to facilitate timely payments
  • Prepare analysis for monthly, quarterly and annual business unit reports
  • Gather information and create presentations for next fiscal year Capital budgets
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Highly organized
  • Good Mathematical skill and computer skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, and other Microsoft products
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Possess a strong technical background and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information with Microsoft PowerPoint and respond to questions from management, co-workers, subordinates, internal customers, vendors and the public
  • Strong computer skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Access, Excel, Project Management, Outlook, SharePoint Designer, and Business Intelligence
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with basic equipment operation and repair
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Inclination
  • Experience handling budget
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Environmental exposure - cold/wet conditions (40 ° or below).
  • Material exposure - moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations.
  • Ability to lift, slide, and carry up to 50-55lbs.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods of time
HOURS & WORKDAYS:

1st Shift - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Scheduled day-off rotations, overtime, weekends, and holidays may be mandatory based on department and business needs
