The Meat Cutter Position at Jimmy John's is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the store is prepped and ready to serve our customers quickly and efficiently. This involves learning and implementing the most effective methods for preparing, slicing, chopping, and portioning products for use throughout the day.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to slice and portion meats and cheese, as well as perform other tasks necessary to get the store ready to serve our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and slice meats and cheese for use in our sandwiches
  • Portion and package products for use throughout the day
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous experience in meat slicing is preferred, but on-site training is available
  • Ability to work with a quota and meet expected inventory levels
  • Willingness to complete basic food safety training
