Geriatric Therapist

Family and Children's Services is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our team in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our community's aging population.

This role will involve working with individuals over 55+ years of age, providing therapy and support through life changes, anxiety, loneliness, depression, and other mental stresses.

As a Licensed Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including individuals, families, and groups, and will be supported by our Director of Clinical Services and team.

• Maintain a standard productivity per week
• Establish and maintain a regular schedule, including in-person and telehealth appointments
• Collect and record psychological information about clients through interviews, observations, and tests
• Complete clinical and administrative documentation according to requirements
• Provide logistical support for Agency front office operations
• Attend necessary supervision and Agency meetings

• Current full licensure within the state of Michigan
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think critically, problem solve, and meet deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of working with diverse populations
• Excellent computer skills, including experience with Electronic Medical Records
