About the Job

At Quality Talent Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiac Rehabilitation program, you will be responsible for evaluating patients referred to the program, developing and implementing effective treatment plans, and conducting day-to-day operations of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their level of function and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Program Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Rehabilitation program, including preparing and maintaining department records and documents for accreditation.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with the inter-professional team to promote a positive work environment, lead the team to achieve optimal department results, and provide guidance and mentorship to other Exercise Physiologists.
  • Quality and Safety: Participate in monitoring and reporting on quality and safety metrics, identify opportunities for corrective action, and contribute to meeting departmental and hospital targets for quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field of study. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Four years' experience in a Cardiac Rehab program. May consider HM employee with three years' experience with demonstrated progressive responsibilities.
  • Licenses and Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) or ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) within 90 days.
