About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at CarMax. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to resolve technical problems and meet production deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
Requirements
  • Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and heating and air conditioning.
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • ASE certifications in relevant areas (where required by State/Local law).
