Firefighter/EMT

We are seeking a highly skilled Firefighter/EMT to join our team at Wakulla County Fire Rescue. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for providing fire and rescue services, including emergency response, patient care, and transport. You will work under the supervision of the on-duty Captain and be expected to operate and maintain fire and rescue apparatus and equipment.

• Provide fire and rescue services, including emergency response and patient care
• Operate and maintain fire and rescue apparatus and equipment
• Work under the supervision of the on-duty Captain
• Meet the requirements for Florida Firefighter II Certification and Emergency Medical Technician Certification

• High School diploma or acceptable equivalent
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• State of Florida Emergency Medical Technician Certification
• Basic Life Support Provider certification
• Florida Firefighter II Certification
• Certificate of completion of an approved Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
• Certificates of completion of FEMA IS-00100, IS-00200, IS-00700, IS-00800 Courses
• Ability to pass FBI Background Check
• Ability to pass pre-employment firefighter physical and drug screening
